Public Acts: A Journey to Non-Violence is a 10-day Erasmus+ residential theatre laboratory in Rocchetta Ligure, bringing together young people, Living Theatre Europa, and Facta Non Verba (Greece) to explore theatre as collective creation, public action, and nonviolent resistance.

 

Inspired by The Living Theatre’s cycle The Legacy of Cain, the project investigates six “houses” of power — War, Death, Private Property, Money, the State, and Love distorted by power — transforming difficult questions into embodied practice, shared performance, and civic encounter.

Public Acts: A Journey to Non-Violence è un laboratorio teatrale residenziale Erasmus+ di 10 giorni a Rocchetta Ligure, che riunisce giovani partecipanti, Living Theatre Europa e Facta Non Verba (Grecia) per esplorare il teatro come creazione collettiva, azione pubblica e resistenza nonviolenta.

 

Ispirato al ciclo L’eredità di Caino di The Living Theatre, il progetto indaga sei “case” del potere — Guerra, Morte, Proprietà privata, Denaro, Stato e Amore distorto dal potere — trasformando domande difficili in pratica incarnata, performance condivisa e incontro civico.
